2 Easy Principles for Rapid Fat Loss

By Frances Norah Smith

There is plenty of diet programs which can help you lose weight fast; there is also plenty of diet pills and supplements which promise to 'melt away your pounds' instantly! However there is a lack of knowledge: knowledge about good weight loss principles. There are some weight loss principles you must follow in order to lose weight successfully! Without these principles, neither any diet program nor any pill could help you with fat loss! In this article I will tell you about these two principles.

1. Cut down your calorie intake but don't go to the extreme: It is well known that in order to lose weight successfully, you must consume fewer calories than what you burn. This creates a calorie deficit within your body. When your body faces a calorie deficit, it has no other option but to burn your fat deposits for the purpose of energy production, which is actually what you WANT!

All these sound good, and actually, this is how people lose weight. However, problem occurs when people try to reduce their food intake drastically or worse, start starving in the hope of quick weight loss!

Starving is a strict no-no for anyone who is looking forward to shedding the extra pounds! Your body is designed in such a way that it would fend off any effort you make to lose weight faster than the normal speed. The normal amount of weight that you can lose per week is no more than two pounds, and you shouldn't decrease your daily calorie intake by more than 500 calories!

If you try to go beyond these limits, your body will burn muscles instead of fat. Consequently, you will lose all of your valuable muscles but not even one pound of fat!

2. Don't forget to do workouts: You can burn off another 500 calories with the help of workouts! Workouts not only help you burn fat but also build strong muscles! The more lean muscles you have, the more fat you will burn, even when you are not exercising! Personally, I have found weight lifting to be a good workout for weight loss. You should lift weights for three days per week!

For the rest of the four days, you can do some moderate cardio exercises. Make sure you don't spend hours on cardios. Spend no more than thirty minutes per day on this workout; that is enough to burn 500 calories. Long cardio sessions actually do more harm than good!

With this deadly combo of two workouts and one calorie deficit diet, you are bound to lose weight! Remember that weight loss is not as hard as you think, but quick weight loss is absolutely impossible! Try to lose weight slowly but steadily; this will help you achieve your weight loss goals! - 15438
