Most people use makeup to hide their acne and blemishes. Makeup can really hide even sever acne if applied correctly. Some people just smother their face with heavy makeup products. This not only looks bad but it also makes your skin condition worse.

The problem is even, with all that makeup, when your skin is inflamed, the bumps will still appear. When you have cysts on your face, you can't exactly pop them so the bumps can go down, you're just stuck with them. When your pimples begin to clear up, you still probably have some tissue that hasn't exactly healed itself yet and could cause scarring.

When you have mild scarring, most foundations and concealers will cover it up, but when you have deep scarring, you may want to think about getting laser treatment. You shouldn't let your acne get you down too much, but sometimes a little rejuvenation will give you just the boost you need.
